Aren’t you just bored with all those slides-based presentations made through Microsoft PowerPoint or Google Slides?

Would you like to impress your spectators with stunning visualization of your talk?

then you should try impress.js.

It’s a presentation framework based on the power of CSS3 transforms and transitions in modern browsers.

Prerequisites

  • Basic HTML5 and text editing skills
  • Basic CSS3 understanding and skills
  • Working knowledge of JavaScript (if you expect things better like the above one).

Upsides

  • Reduces your efforts of arranging images and contents through drags.
  • Your styling through CSS can be applied consistently to all slides.
  • You can integrate your pie-charts, graphs, and conclusions in a more interactive manner than conventional presentations.
  • As it works on the web browser, it is platform-independent. No need to install google presentation.
  • You can easily share the URL of your slides before, during, or after your presentation. No need to be dependent on SlideShare.
  • You can embed your fully-functioning impress.js presentation on web pages.
  • You can showcase your one with other presentations on the Examples-and-demos page of impress.js.

All you need just to read out the README.md file available on the GitHub repo named impress.js.

Clone the repo to your local machine.

Go through the Documentation of usage.

Start with the index.html page of the cloned repo as boilerplate code.

It’s open-source, so feel free to contribute to it and help in the betterment of the same.

Don’t forget to make a pull request for getting your presentation added into the Examples and demos page of impress.js.
